FPP info

Hi everybody,
for information...
I'm using Flash Panorama Player and I've got a trouble with cube vrs with
limited tilt field (I want to avoid the user to see my feet).

FPP "borders" plugin limits the tilt "field" a strange way :
- logically, as under Apple QuickTime VR,
[tilt field] = (fov max) - (current fov)
... so when you do zoom in, your tilt "field" is logically enhanced,
and when you do zoom out your tilt "field" is reduced

Anyway, under FPP, your tilt field is the same for every zoom value.
So for my example, when I do full zoom in, I don't see my feet, and when I
do full zoom out I can see it.
The only solution I found (nobody answers at FPP support) is to limit the
zoom_min (value =1), then I check the ideal value of my tilt_min, then the
user cannot zoomout to see my feet.

Luckily, I don't have this problem with PTViewer and QTVR.

I'll check if there is the same problem with Pano2VR or another flash
based display engine.

I think that would make real troubles for people like me who'd like to
rise back some old cylindrical of partial spherical panoramas (FPP
"cylinder" plugin is really much too slow to display), and I don't want no
foot cache.

Sébastien.
