Hello list,
It is a sad state of affairs isn't
it?
But instead of whining about it, the one
way to battle this problem is to
reignite interest in the
product.
Why would Apple put resources into a
product that seems to be fading
into VR history books, with flash and all,
that now can do similar things.
Not as good of course ....
*^)
Maybe a world wide initiative by everyone
involved and using QuickTime
should start a wave of interest, how? Lets
discuss this.
1. Maybe contact or send a disk to
advertising and promotional companies
in your town or
city.
2. Offer 1 free VR to get your "foot in the
door" and gain word of mouth about your quality work.
3. Bug movie studios, car manufactures,
anyone who can show the product value to a large number of
people.
4. Any suggestions ?
Just a thought ......
Web sites ...... promote, promote,
promote
Traffic is key. Exposure is key. spend an
hour posting links every week in forums, facebook, and
other
high traffic sites
......
I think it is up to us to spark interest
again with the public and business sectors.
how about the fashion industry? world
events covered but a VR photographer.
Maybe let some of your photos be
distributed freely !!!
let it spread ....
Ah, just a 5 minute brain
storm.....
Your thoughts?
