Re: Automate QT object movie production

If you are on Windows, Pano2QTVR does a great job of this. Get it all set up the way you want, then save it as a droplet. Also works well under Parallels on a Mac (the way I use it.) One nice things is that it can also make Flash object movies.

If you are on a Mac, hopefully Thomas will port this functionality to Pano2VR (or a new application) soon 8-) Or, you can use VRWorx. VRWorx has an Applescript that will convert folders of images to object movies. It does ask two questions (where to save and how many rows), but you could edit the script to make it completely silent.

Good luck,

John

Hi Guys and girls
Does anybody know of a way to automate making Object QTVR movies from the
images, in the same way as you can resize images in Photoshop using actions?

I was hoping there is a way, as I have just taken about a hundred movies of
objects for a retailer, and I didn't really want to do it all one by one.

Also I was wanting to do it on the fly, so I can have my turntable, take the
images of the TVs which will be saved directly to the laptop from my 5D, and
then I can auto create the object VR, so I can see if the movie looks good
straight away.

Regards
Ian
