You could probably set the movie to be a QTVR Object movie. To create a
QTVR you will need to extract the images of the movie and stitch them
together. You wont need every frame. You just need 30% to 50% overlap
in the frames you choose.
You have not mentioned what platform you are currently on. Probably
still Mac. I am not familiar with Mac solutions. You can find a list of
software here. http://www.panoramas.dk/panorama/software.html

I don't think I've done a QTVR since Classic. I'm having a hard time
finding information and it's not working the way I remember it.
What I have is a 60 second 360° video of an outdoor landscape. I'd
like to make it into a QTVR. What tools are used today to do this? I
thought I'd just have to change the controller type to QTVR, but it
changes back every time I set it.
Is QTVR still the way to go or should I be looking at other technologies?
