When you first receive the Apple Remote Desktop software, do you need to
initially go to each client machine to install a client version or can the
server side push the client version to each computer? The reason I ask is
that my company has purchased, but not received, the software and I have a
need to install some patches on the client computers and I am trying to work
on the timing here (i.e. if at all possible, I do not want to walk to each
client computer twice).
Is there an electronic manual somewhere (PDF, Word, whatever)? I could not
locate any on the Apple web-site. I love the concept of ARD and read great
reviews on it, but now I need specific information so I can determine the
best way to use it in our environment.
Thanks.
