So you want t do surveillance. Well, if you have iChat AV then try connecting to the account 'tryichatav' and you will see that iChat AV can be set to automatically answer. This is a test account set up by someone at Apple for people to test their iChat AV settings and may be busy when you try it but it demonstrates that it can be done. I think it's done with an AppleScript.
