A way of interrogating machines for software license information would
be *so* useful.
But I doubt that even ARDv2 will offer this. Does anyone know any
different?
I have toyed with the idea of adding unique identification to
applications' GetInfo comments fields in order to track licenses across
our network but this would be tedious in the extreme.
Has anyone had any success with maintaining a database of licensed
software using ARD and without resorting to the expense of Sassafras
Keyeditor or LanDesk?
