Very slow startup for ARD (Apple Remote Desktop)
Had this on our macs. It's fixed now.
A reverse lookup is done for each mac IP that ARD knows about.
In our case an OS-X server was handling the local dns and the problem
went away when I added an (empty) reverse zone for the IP range
