It works like a charm normally. We download the package and push it out and
have only had one or two failures out of well over 100 installs.

Greetings,
In considering the upgrade from ARD 1.2 to version 2.x I was wondering if
installing OSX security update packages via ARD works correctly with ARD
2.x. In the past when I tried to install security updates via ARD 1.2
SoftwareUpdate wouldn't recognize that the update was installed and the
update would show up in the list next time SoftwareUpdate ran. Its been a
long time since I looked at this but I think the problem had to do with
permissions on the receipts. Since then I've been installing security
packages either via SSH or manually. Hence my question, is anyone
successfully installing security update packages via ARD 2.x??
