I joined the list several months ago and have appreciated the various
message threads. Many have been useful for my situation - many thanks
to the various authors. And I hope to contribute in the future.
We have made some changes to the Apple Mail client - namely the options
on how many times Apple Mail checks for mail on the server. We removed
the 1 minute option, and added a ten minute option (mail - preferences
- general). Our developer edited the contents of GeneralPreferences.nib
located in Applications:Mail:Content:Resources:English.lproj.
Now we would like to deploy this nib file to our clients using ARD
v2.1. All our clients run OS 10.3.x with ARD client v2.1 installed.
I am asking for advice on deploying this nib file since using the ARD
copy command does not work - can not copy nib files into Mail.app.
Any advice on how to accomplish this would be appreciated or any other
deployment suggestions?
