If you were using the really awesome portable home directory setup we designed for Tiger, then you could easily copy the items into the network home of all users with a tool like Passenger - then let the sync process mirror that item to the user's local home when they logged in - or in the background while they were working.

IIRC, it was. He wanted to copy things into every ~/Library/ Preferences
folder on client systems
