Thanks, that is better, but then I get no feedback on the task... I miss the old task window(s), and currently see no option to get them back. You can also open the list you're working on in a separate window if you know you're going to need that... oh well. Or more exactly, the fact that the current task takes over the pane where my selected list was, and there doesn't appear to be any way to get back besides manually clicking on my previously selected list (I have a lot of lists.) Even when I do go back to the list, the selected machines are no longer selected... and sometimes I want to do a second operation on the same set of machines. So I can already hear the suggestions, make a temp list before you run your task. Yep, but it was a lot more convenient in 2.x with the tasks in a separate window(s). just my 2cents |
