Hi Just in case anybody's interested: I the following modification from an earlier ARD 2 thread in version 3, and it still works. Many thanks again to Anthony Foxcroft who contributed it:
But like in ARD 2 I'm still not successful in changing the Lock Screen Picture: Create an image with the words, picture etc that you want the user to see. Save it as – Lock Screen Picture.jpg – push this out to your clients /Library/Preference folder. The next time you lock their screen this image will be the one they see. If you want to revert to the standard lock image, remove this image. This doesn't work, so I removed it and replaced the Lock.jpg inside the ARDagent, but the Mac still shows the original lock picture. Where can it come from? Does the admin machine send it? Is there any other lock.pict location? Patrik -- <<< patrik wuethrich / email@hidden / iChat: peewee |
