If you're using ARD 3, you can set it in the ARD Preferences so that
all communications between ARD Admin and the ARD clients are
encrypted. In ARD 2, it's my understanding that only passwords (i.e.
authenticating to an ARD client) and keystrokes (using Control) are
encrypted. Send Unix is not encrypted on ARD 2, and not encrypted by
default in ARD 3.
Thanks,
Rich

I am assuming that when you type
dscl . -passwd /Users/admin oldpass newpass ; kickstart -configure
-privs -all -users admin
that the unix command is encrypted over the network so someone
sniffing
can't see the text of the command. I hope I'm right. Can someone
assure
me that is correct?
