Thread-topic: How to set the default printer preference
Hi all,
We need to better manage color printing in the office, so I'd like to assure
that all my clients are set to a specific default printer instead of the
"last used" option. (They tend to print the next X emails in color)
I've experimented with copying over /etc/cups/printers.conf and
/etc/cups/ppd as referenced in the ARD manual, but this doesn't change the
default printer. Perhaps 10.5 changed things?
Can anyone tell me what file holds the default printer in 10.5?
