Yes.  Chicken of the VNC is a VNC client, but to be honest, I had bad luck with it and Screen Sharing.  I never personally got them to play nice, and ended up turning off Screen Sharing in favor of using the free Vine Server which is a configurable and easily managed VNC server.  Struggling to deal with Apple's limited GUI options for Screen Sharing became a bit too frustrating.

All you need to do is give Vine Server a password, hit the button that makes it start at system startup (so it automatically enables itself on restart), then use CotV to connect to the IP address at port 5900.  Also, make sure the firewall is either off or is letting port 5900 through.
