Backup and closing a Control session

Hi All

Is the old ARD 2 method of backing up your lists / ARD database as below supposed to still work? (As I get the error below, ARD 3.2 and 3.3)

sudo cp -R /var/db/RemoteManagement/ ~/Desktop/RemoteMangement/
cp: /var/db/RemoteManagement//RMDB/.s.PGSQL.5433: Operation not supported on socket

Also I've always wondered is there anyway to close a Control session via the keyboard? Sometimes I sneak onto a computer to quickly fix something for them or have left a control session open and I have to move their cursor to get mine of their screen to hit the close button or change the focus back to ARD so I can cmd + w the window. Not a big issue but it blows my cover or staff wonder why there mouse is moving randomly.
