I'm glad JRendezvous is working out for you. The only way to detect IP adress changes in Java is to poll for them, which is rather ugly. As a result I decided that this should be up to the application layer.

A similar problem exists when network interfaces are added and removed. It is hard to detect this in Java...

So it should be possible for JRendevous to reflect such change. But I'm not quiet clear about which ZeroConf mechanism to use to trigger an update...
