NFS mounts and _nfs._tcp

I have noticed that when nfsd is run on OS X 10.3.2 other 10.3.2 machines
can see the NFS mount points in /Network as <hostname>/mountpoint.

However if I try and view _nfs._tcp or _nfs._udp Entries on .local there is
nothing there. How is this information broadcast?

Also, if I do broadcast a linux NFS exports on _nfs._tcp the /Network folder
does pick up the entry but it always fails to mount it. I have tried many
different names.

According to Technical Q&A QA1212
(http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1312.html), OS X Finder browses for
_nfs._tcp starting with 10.2. What is the trick in the service that needs
to be registered? Are there any TXT records that need to be added like
_http._tcp uses?

Thanks,
Sean
