Can you help us calculate what you mean by "a growing amount of 
Rendezvous multicasts".  I've attached the mDNSNetMonitor command-line 
tool that's available in Darwin.  Can you please run this tool from the 
command-line for two minutes during a time you think the traffic is 
high, and then inform us of the final results.

Are these problems on Ethernet or Wireless?

Don't forget about iTunes for Windows which also supports Rendezvous 
music sharing.

What version of Mac OS X are these machines running?
