I've recently downloaded the Windows Rendezvous code, and am trying to
use the Printer Setup Wizard to enable printing to my Rendezvous
printer: an HP Photosmart 7150. The printer is detected successfully
from all Apple computers, but my XP laptop does not seem to detect the
printer. Is there any recommended way to debug this, and see if there's
any way to get things working?
What do you get if you run the following command from the Mac:
mdns -B "_pdl-datastream._tcp" ""
?
Does it show up if you do:
mdns -B "_printer._tcp" ""
or
mdns -B "_ipp._tcp" ""
?
