Slightly off-topic, the Rendezvous for Windows technology preview also includes the Java support we announced at WWDC.

A simple service browser is included as part of the Java sample code, which unfortunately did not make it in to the first version of the SDK. We're working on fixing that, but in the meantime anyone who is interested can download it (along with the rest of the mDNSResponder source) from the Darwin CVS respository:

(Be sure you grab the latest from CVS; the tarball that's up there (58.8) is the latest released version. The new stuff hasn't been released yet.)
