Hello, I would like to get started developing with Rendezvous on Linux, but I'm not sure how to do that.
From the main Rendezvous development page, I downloaded the three packages for POSIX: mDNSResponder, bootp-110, Libinfo-173
I got mDNSResponder compiled and working on my Linux box and I can see and advertise certain services with other computers on my network. I don't know what bootp-110 and Libinfo-173 are for and what I'm supposed to do with them.
I wrote a simple test program in OS X using Rendezvous which seems to work. I would like to bring it over and compile it on Linux now. I found a dns_sd.h header file in the mDNSResponder code, but I can't figure out where the Rendezvous libraries are located so I can link to them.
If you something along the lines of:
cd mDNSResponder/mDNSPosix make os=linux sudo make os=linux install
cheers,
Roger. _______________________________________________ rendezvous mailing list | email@hidden Help/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/rendezvous Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
