Hmm, I just remembered that we only do embedded mDNS in VxWorks right now. The Java interface sits on top of the dns_sd.h API, which is not available on VxWorks. (At least, no one's written the code for it.)

James, do you need to write Rendezvous code in Java on VxWorks, or are you just trying to talk to a VxWorks box from a Mac/Windows/POSIX machine running Java?
