AutoResolve fails on multiple threads on Windows

I have an application which maintains multiple threads. When I do a DNSBrowserStartServiceSearch specifying kDNSBrowserFlagAutoResolve, I don't get the resolver callbacks for any other than the first thread. I can fix the problem by commenting out the kDNSResolverFlagOnlyIfUnique flag on line 981 of DNSServices.c, where the resolver is set up. Since kDSNResolverAutoReleaseByName is specified, the resolver should get released and will get released when the browser on that thread is terminated AFAIK. Does anyone know of another reason why I shouldn't do this?
