Is the lack of 'local.' resolution the reason why I'm seeing that I
have to do this, or should I be doing something else to allow Windows
to query the mDNS core for those addresses ?
Is your browser configured to use a proxy? If so, you may need to add
local. to your exception list, as reported by another reader recently.
