Hi Marc,

If you're using a Mac, then you don't need to install howl or mod_zeroconf, since Mac OS X has a built-in mDNSResponder and a built-in mod_rendezvous_apple Apache module. If you want to support wide-area you'll need to replace the built-in copy of mDNSResponder with the one from Darwin CVS.

hy marc great, thats what i though too,

what i heard that i NEED the one from the CVS right ?!

Right.

so another big thing for me , get code from an CVS :-(

In Terminal, type...

export CVS_RSH=ssh
export CVSROOT=:ext:email@hidden:/cvs/apsl
cvs co mDNSResponder

Then when it prompts you for a password, type in your Darwin username and password like this...

username:password

Best Regards

-Marc
