Installing just Dashcode from SDK

I downloaded the SDK, but am only interested in Dashcode and the new Simulator, for an article I'm writing about web development on the iPhone that will come out in June.

So I ran just those two packages, but the new Dashcode only quits immediately upon launch, and the Simulator is nowhere to be found.

Anyone know if there is some other component required to run these two things? Is it necessary to install the complete SDK (I'm not interested in native app development)?
