Re: dashcode webdav

Tom,

The RSS feed must come from the same server as you are deploying your "application." As far as I am concerned, this is an unfortunate restriction, but there are workarounds (your best bet is looking up "Cross Domain XMLHttpRequest" on your favorite Search Engine).

As for Dashcode crashing, we don't currently have open bugs of crashing when deploying to webdav, so I would file a bug with Apple (http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/ ) so we can best analyze and fix any such problems.

Thanks,

Chris

Just wondering if anyone else is trying dashcode 2 to make an RSS "app".
The problem I have is
I can only publish to .mac or webdav
when I publish to .mac I get a message saying
Feed not available. The feed URL must be from the same source as your web application.
When I try using a webdav directory dashcode crashes - every time :(
