Here is what I want to do but I want to see if anyone ‘out
there’ has done it and whether this is feasible. 1.
User receives email on iPhone native e-mail client 2.
User clicks on link 3.
The link actually executes some JS that is embedded in
the HTML of the e-mail 4.
The JS write to an existing DB that has already been
created by a Web App (is this doable or do security settings prevent that from
happening?) 5.
Once the JS has written all the data to the DB, the Web
App is launched and the data is displayed The reason that I want to do this is I want to ensure that
if the user is notified of something that all the data is available when they
click on the link regardless of whether they have wireless connectivity. So if I
embed all the data in the email then I am all set.
