Actually, frameworks are supposed to solve this problem by keeping
different versions of the libraries. If your program needs version B, it asks for that version - it should get it.


A framework is a container for libraries that offers extra features over
a plain old unix directory.



Now that is a good feature. Other systems don't handle this gracefully at all.
