In this vein, how much actual technical math can you do with
AppleScript? Are there fancy math functions in some OSAX? Could you
write, say, a Lagrangian interpolation routine or searching or
sorting functions in AppleScript? I only ask because I have some of
this stuff in VBA with Excel, and I'm concerned that I might be
forced to re-write all that stuff in Applescript or else not upgrade
Excel.
