This is an update of an earlier (G5) work intended for
FFTs with, say, a billion elements.
The bottom line is: One can get a double-precision,
billion-element FFT to achieve a sustained, real-time
2 gigaflops, via Accelerate, in an appropriate cluster-distribution
(of both "space and time," i.e. both memory and CPU).
