It is also dead (no bug fixes any more, not available for Mac/Intel).
But Fink has both g95 and gfortran (as part of gcc-4.2).


Dead... yes. But it's most certainly available for Intel Macs. Gaurav Khanna has a version on his site (http://hpc.sourceforge.net) and we have an installer based on his build available via MacResearch at:

http://www.macresearch.org/files/tarballs/g77CompleteInstaller.mpkg.tar.gz

 I'd also recommend ifort (as someoneelse mentioned) from Intel if
you don't mind paying for a compiler. It's been able to handle every
FORTRAN based project I've thrown at it (and in many cases I've been
able to simply use the Linux Makefiles for ifort with no
modification).
