Slightly lazy today. I'm trolling around for links to free FORTRAN

Also, any tutorial links on Linux to OSX porting and FORTRAN.

Just a couple of thoughts:
1. Have a good think before you install Fink or Darwinports. Once installed you are no longer using a standard Darwin distribution but a Fink or Darwinports system. A lot of your libraries will become non-standard. This may be what you, but it might not be. I don't find them necessary, and Fink has caused me problems in the past.

2. The current distributions of the R statistics package for the Mac includes a full gcc C/C++/gfortran compiler which is used to build the distribution. This compiler works well and understands Apple specific gcc options like '-arch'.

3. Apple's developer web site has a lot of good stuff about porting autoconf based and other open source/Linux apps to OS X.

Have fun
