I am fairly new to OS X, coming from Linux and haven't picked up all
the ins and outs of OS X development. One thing I need right away: I
can't seem to get the GSL to compile 64 bit on OS X Leopard (intel
dual core Xeons). I was wondering what the trick is?
There is no switch in the GSL config -help to force 64-bit, nor does
the -arch switch seem to work for me when set as a CFLAG environment
variable. The error shows up when I try to link against the GSL from
my own x86_64 code (compiled with the gcc -arch x86_64 switch or in
Xcode by setting the architecture to x86_64).
I thought that maybe someone here would have a tip for me.
David
