Hi All,
1. I am trying to hint some MPEG-2 movies on my OS-X
server. When the movie is about 5-10 Mbytes Quicktime 6
can hint it and save it quite fast ( My OS-X is a dual processor machine).
But the same MPEG-2 movie, when I try to hint the whole
movie ( about 200 Mbytes), the quicktime proceeds to about
3/4th of the movie ( looks like it from the status bar it displays) and
then stops there doing something forever.
Did anyone experience the same problem? Does any
one know any solution to this problem?
My MPEG-2 movie is a muxed stream of audio and video.
2. I have also installed the upgrade pack of MPEG-2 on my
windows clients. But the windows clients cannot read a MUXed
MPEG-2 stream from the file. But the same clip when hinted
and streamed can be played by the windows client !!!
Does any one know why this happens? It keeps displaying
the message that the file contains invalid track when I say
open file.
Any help is much appreciated
