I just got DSS installed on RH7.1 and it seems to be up and running,
web admin working nicely.
It looks great, I'm excited.
I am primarily interested in delivering on-demand MP3 stream via
RTSP/RTP (not HTTP). I am still not totally clear whether this is
possible with DSS?
e.g., rtsp://<myserver>/song.mp3
(Playable by any client supporting RTSP/RTP standard.)
If this is possible, then can you give clarification concerning
creating the playlist?
I am familiar with the old-fashioned M3U/PLS playlist idea used for
HTTP streaming. Is it a similarly simple process?

Obviously the second option is usually the one people take, because
