Re: Help!! Problems streaming MJPEG formatted data with QTSS and QuickTime Player

I'm sure somebody out there will correct me if I am mistaken, but I understood QTSS/DSS to be codec agnostic as far as reflecting a stream was concerned, as long as the data being streamed was already RTP encoded properly. MooV and MPEG-4 containers can be used to hold pre-recorded MJPEG data if I wanted to stream something that I already had on disk, but I am working from a live source.

I'm not saying that MJPEG is the best answer, but it should work if I'm feeding it in as RFC2435 or RFC2035 encoded data and have an appropriate SDP file in place. I know that QT Player can support MJPEG via RTP, so the question is what am I doing wrong...?

My understanding that QTSS/DSS doesn't work with MJEPG, but QuickTime MooV and MPEG-4 formats. There are alternative programs if you want to reflect just the video using MJEPG, such as cserv.
