I have done some tests measuring end-to-end delay of a live broadcast.
I have use QTBroadcaster streaming live event(as Unicast) into QTTS
4.1.1 (as a reflector) and view the stream in QuickTime player.
The results were ~13 sec delay(on LAN) which I assume match 3 sec
buffer delay as indicated in the sdp file
( can it be lowered below 3 sec?) and 10 sec of the
"reflector_buffer_size_sec" as indicated in the
streamingserver.xml(config).
My question is what are the optimum setting of the sdp buffer delay
and the "reflector_buffer_size_sec" in order to get minimum end-to-end
delay?
Are their any other options which will effect the delay?
