Streaming latency between two separate computers

Is it possible to adjust the latency between two separate computers tuning
in to the same stream from a QuickTime Streaming Server?  I would like to
have each of the computers be a close as possible to viewing the same
content.  Is there parameters that I can adjust on the server as well as the
player?
