Isn't that true that if the server is configurated to stream through
port
80, will the clients under all circumstances receive streaming through
port 80? We have our QTSS 4.1 set up to stream via port 80. Sometimes
it
seems that if the client is set up to receive via port 554, our stream
won't reach his player. Nevertheless "in most of the cases",
indpendently
of the clients preferences, our stream reach his player without
problems.

No, there isn't.
That sucks. Oh well, please consider this a Bug Report.
Any configuration option - such as this - that's applicable to the
QuickTime plugin should be configurable from within HTML (e.g., using a
<PARAM ...> line). It should not be necessary for a user to have to
first
launch QuickTime Player and configure it by hand.
