Hi,
First off your documentation for setting up Streaming Media
Server needs to be detailed.
I have compile the Darwin Streaming media Server on Solaris x86
ok. But the doc's states the following:
On UNIX platforms, the server reads its preferences from a config
file. A default config file, streamingserver.conf, comes with both the
source and binary packages. The server looks for this file at
etc/streamingserver.conf, so you must copy it to the /etc directory
before starting the server.
Sorry but I don't find where streamingserver.conf file is at:
/usr/local/dev/DSS-4_1_1.src
# find . -depth -name streamingserver.conf -print
#
As you see I did try to find it. But the source didn't contain
the file any suggestion. Also where can I find documentation
on this file.
Also what ports besides 1220 do I need to have setup on the
OS and is it TCP or UDP or both?
