IPv6 version planned? Apple developers (pretty) please respond!

Hi all,

The institute where I work is participating in the 6NET project
(http://www.6net.org).
More specifically: WP5 (including such things as real-time
videoconferencing and media streaming applications)
We're not just interested in testing IPv6 products but can also
participate in IPv6 porting efforts.
Here at the Telematica Instituut we already did some work on mpeg4ip
(http://www.mpeg4ip.net/) and videolan (http://www.videolan.org/).
For testing other (player) parts of the mpeg4ip suite we made a
quick-'n-dirty hack of an old DSS version to let it stream over IPv6.

In light of those efforts I'm wondering if there are any plans for an
IPv6 enabled version of DSS.
As said: not only for testing it (which is useful as well if IPv6 is on
the Apple todo list of course) but also for porting (if it is not on the
todo list).
Needless to say we won't do any real porting if Apple is already
planning to do this (but if it isn't we probably will).

So could someone from Apple please confirm if there are any plans for
this as we're getting mixed signals from various people.

Thanks!,
