Can DSS deliver hinted mpeg1 file?

Hi friends,

   I'm testing DSS4.0(RH7.2) to service VOD. And can
DSS support hinted mpeg1 files? When I play the hinted
mpeg1 files, the server says that "415, unsupported
media type".

   And what media type are supported?

   Anything special must be done to the mpeg1 files(it
has been hinted from QT5.0 pro)?
