I'm pretty sure that this is a stupid question but i post it anyway :-)
I'm trying to make up an internet radio, for didactical purposes; i have mac
os x qith quicktime streaming server and i made an mp3 playlist.
And it works perfectly on winamp, windows media player, iTunes, etc...
What i need to do instead is something integrated in a web page and above
all i need it to be absolutely cross platform
So i embedded quicktime into the html page, but the problem is that
quicktime player seems not to like the mp3 playlist, made over http protocol
it always go in something like a loop and i have to force-quit it.
to recall the streaming i use this url: http://my-ip-number:554/jazz, where
jazz is the mount point.
I looked around and i understood that quicktime player does not play remote
mp3 playlist as winamp or others do, and so i have to "hint" every mp3,
convert into mov and then create a movie playlist that generate an sdp that
can be seen by quicktime player... is that right?
do i have an easiest way to get my target?
Practically at the end of the story i should have a button that switch my
radio on and off... pretty easy to say... i'd like it to be easy to do also
