How to install DSS in a subdirectory without root access

Just to let everyone know it is possible to install DSS on linux in a
sub-directory other than the home directory without root access, out of the
port of your choice (on mine it happens to be 2020)..

Its a hack, but I have made a install script that allows you to place it in
the directory of your choice, and it doesn't require you to have root
access on the server! (although it would be best if you had the ability to
make subuser accounts...)

This is for people who don't have their own webserver, but want to add
podcasts and streaming video to their websites.

what you have to do is use the make_root command and it sets up the
directories for you, then you can use the modified intall script to get it
running..
I also have it running without the default streaming web admin... For my
purposes I just do everything at the command line...

I have gotten a lot of help from this list in the past, so if I can help
anyone out please let me know!
