I haven't used the Linux/PPC version in some while, but from what I
know (read: a ten-minute hack session), it had some problem reading the
command line. What I'd suggest is to change the code: go back to good
ol' cin and cout, and on launch, simply read the parameters from
standard input. It's cheap and it's nasty.

I haven't tried it for myself, mainly because I'm not running a
Linux/PPC distribution any more. (In fact, I reformatted to make way
for Mac OS X, but I haven't bought it yet.)

cheers,
 -Terence Tan
