A month ago, I've posted this solution on this list, it works great for me.
First, under LinuxPPC, you must patch 3 files by writing inside #include
<arpa/inet.h>.
Files are :
RTPMetaInfoLib/RTPMetaInfoPacket.h
RTCPUtilitiesLib/RTCPAckPacket.h
RTCPUtilitiesLib/RTCPAPPPacket.h
Now, you are ready to build with ./Buildit
Ignore warnings, at least for the moment.
Now, it's time for installing DSS3pre.
First, you have to patch DSS_MakeRoot. Put comments ('#') before each line
about SpamPro (it seems, SpamPro are not in the original tarball, which is
normal because I remain Apple doesn't give SpamPro sources, only a binary
file.
Second, you must do the same into Install.
Then create a 'temp' (choose a name) directory
Then do ./DSS_MakeRoot -f path_to_your_dir_called_temp.
Go to your directory temp.
Now you are ready to install DSSPre3
In temp, do :
su
./Install
Everything should be ok.
Now follow the doc provided with DSS, change Administrator passwd via your
web browser (only on local machine, not via a remote one). If you use DSS2,
you must move your movies from /usr/movies to /usr/local/movies.
Tell me if you have some others problems.
