Re: DSS4 returing error 10060

Hey Nick,
What kind of URL are you using in the QT Player when trying to connect to
the MP3 playlists? The QT Player needs to use the "icy" headers in order to
tune into QTSS/DSS MP3 playlists, so you need to use the following URL
format:
  icy://hostname:554/playlist

Prefixing the URL with "icy://" should solve your problem. iTunes and
WinAmp use the standard "http://hostname:554/playlist"; URL format.

As for your WinAmp problem, I'm not sure what's causing it. I've used
WinAmp on Windows 98 to tune into a DSS MP3 playlist with no problems, using
the standard "http://hostname:554/playlistname"; URL. I've seen problems
with WinAmp 3 Beta, but nothing like what you're seeing.
